Continuing Momentum
Last year, we focused on a framework that included working on getting the staff where it needed to be with transitions and supporting them to find clarity in roles. We committed ourselves to stewardship internally and recovering trust from the congregation. Finally, we restructured our lay governance structure to ensure the positioning of capable leaders in opportunities to guide the church. This framework is mostly in place and FMC is now positioned for this next exciting season of ministry. The opportunities that God is leading us towards include a focus on Discipleship, launching The Woodlands Hills Campus, and rolling out a holistic commitment to our students. Furthermore, we acknowledge that God is truly present and on the move here. We are experiencing historic growth in the church, people are giving their lives to Christ, and many are responding to God in new and incredible ways. El domingo 7 de Enero de 2024, comenzaremos una serie de especial de adoración titulada ¡LEVÁNTATE! (ARISE!) La inspiración para esta serie es Isaías 60:1: “Levántate, resplandece, porque ha venido tu luz, y la gloria del Señor nace sobre ti”. Durante estas cuatro semanas, daremos gracias a Dios por todo lo que ha sucedido en la Primera Metodista de Conroe (First Methodist Conroe (FMC)) en 2023. Esperaremos con ansias la invitación de Dios para el 2024 y más allá. El año pasado, fijamos nuestras metas para restablecer el marco de la iglesia con dotación de personal, administración financiera y preparación para el campus en The Woodlands Hills. Gracias a la fidelidad de Dios, ahora tenemos un personal y un liderazgo laico muy fuerte y eficaz, una posición financiera que ha mejorado dramáticamente desde hace un año y estamos bien posicionados para lo que tenemos por delante. Ahora es el momento de LEVANTARNOS en respuesta a la provisión e invitación de Dios.

- 28 de Enero: Levántense Juntos - Servicio conjunto a las 11 a.m. en el Santuario para todas las comunidades de adoración, seguido de un almuerzo de barbacoa
