Pray for Your Pastor
Our pastors spend countless hours praying for, leading, teaching, and caring for the Church. Pray for Your Pastor is an invitation to intentionally return that care through prayer.
Over seven weeks, we’ll focus on seven specific areas of prayer, asking God to strengthen, protect, refresh, and encourage those He has called to lead.

The Seven-Week Prayer Journey
Explore each area below for a short video, Scripture, and a specific way to pray for our pastors.
P Week One Protection
Pray for God’s protection over our pastors as they lead and serve. Ask God to guard them against temptation, evil, and the attacks of the enemy, surrounding them with His strength and truth.

R Week Two Rest
Pray that our pastors would experience true rest physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Ask God to provide unhurried time in His presence, renewed strength, and protection against exhaustion and burnout.

A Week Three Anointing & Intimacy
Pray for a deepening relationship between our pastors and God. Ask that their ministry would flow first from intimacy with Jesus and that the Holy Spirit would empower them for everything God has called them to do.

Y Week Four Yielded Heart
Pray for hearts that remain surrendered to God. Ask that our pastors would trust the Lord, treasure Him above everything else, and continually be transformed by the Gospel as they follow His leading.

E Week Five Effectiveness in Ministry
Pray for wisdom, fruitfulness, and faithfulness in ministry. Ask God to guide our pastors in both the big decisions and the small ones and to use their ministry to accomplish His purposes.

R Week Six Righteousness & Integrity
Pray that our pastors would lead with Christ-centered character in both public and private. Ask God to strengthen their convictions and keep their hearts focused on honoring Him above the approval of others.

S Week Seven Strong Marriages & Families
Pray for God’s protection and strength over our pastors’ marriages and families. Ask Him to surround their homes with love, encouragement, strong relationships, and people who will support them well.

Beyond Seven Weeks
Keep Praying
These seven weeks give us a framework, but our prayers don’t have to end here. Continue using the P.R.A.Y.E.R.S. framework and Scripture as a regular rhythm for lifting up the pastors who lead, teach, serve, and care for our church.
