Dr. Brenda Martin

Executive Pastor

I am the happily married wife of Jeff Martin. I am the mother of Erica (tax analyst), Ross (HFD EO), and Trevor (entrepreneur). I am also the grandmother to Lilly Grace. Jeff and I are very family oriented and prioritize our time together.

My greatest Source in life is my relationship with Christ. I met Him personally at age eleven, and have always found great purpose devoting my life to listening to His voice and following Him whether it is being present for a neighbor or serving in the mission field. It is such an honor to know Him and make Him known.

After attending the community college and then the University of Houston, I returned to studies later in life at The Bible Seminary, and then again to pursue my doctorate through The King’s University in Dallas. I have been a part of the UMC since 1999 serving for 21 years at Grace Fellowship Church in Katy. I am now joining the GMC in July as I am ordained as an elder and am appointed to serve at First Methodist Conroe as the Executive Pastor. I am truly humbled, honored, ask God’s Spirit to grant supernatural favor and grace as I knit my heart to His people at FMC.
